MDM Development Group struck out when Miami city commissioners delayed a vote on a plan to subsidize the developer’s $750 million convention center project.

The Miami-based group is seeking up to $115 million in concessions for the Marriott Marquis Miami Worldcenter Hotel & Expo, a convention center hotel development slated to break ground early next year at the former Miami Arena site.
