Zaha Hadid, the world-renowned architect behind One Thousand Museum, an intricately designed 62-story skyscraper rising on Biscayne Boulevard, died Thursday in Miami.
The Iraqi-British architect whose monuments are scattered throughout the world contracted bronchitis this week and suffered a heart attack while hospitalized, according to her London-based firm Zaha Hadid Architects. Hadid was 65.
