The Florida Bar is pushing for the disbarment of three attorneys over the same secret settlement that prompted Broward Circuit Judge Laura Watson’s removal from the bench.
Bar attorneys argued Thursday before the Florida Supreme Court that a referee’s recommendations to suspend Charles Kane for three years and Darin Lentner for two years are not harsh enough. The bar agrees with the referee’s recommendation to disbar Charles Kane’s son, Harley Kane.
