A jury has sided primarily with a property owner in a premises liability case.

Heidi Christakis claimed she tripped and fell walking down stairs at Terrace Apartments in Broward County in 2012. Christakis, who fractured her right ankle and tibia, sued owner Tivoli Terrace LLC for negligence. Her counsel claimed the stairs had divots the company knew about but did not repair.
