A Palm Beach mansion once owned by the late media mogul John Kluge, once the richest man in the United States, sold for $39 million.
Peter Wood, founder of Direct Line and Esure insurance companies, purchased the oceanfront mansion, the Wall Street Journal reported. Kluge, who died in 2010, donated the property to Columbia University, his alma mater. The property was listed for a $59 million price tag in 2011.
