On his application for nomination, Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jason Bloch noted that his colleagues teased him about his frugal habits — turning off lights, printing on both sides of the paper and staying at budget hotels on business trips.
It’s his nature, he said. He’s thrifty to the point of sparing. And he found those personal traits meshed perfectly with his duties at the Miami-Dade County attorney’s office.
