When Gregory Haile became general counsel at Broward College, people sent him contracts to review every which way: email, snail mail, even handing them over when they spotted him on his way to the restroom.

So the college developed in-house software to hold its 900 yearly contracts, also buying a program that allows people to track each contract to see whether it’s with finance, procurement or another department.
