The first Asian-American was among three members elected Monday to the Florida Bar board of governors.
Business litigator Jay Kim, a partner at Kim Vaughan Lerner in Fort Lauderdale, beat Charles Morehead III of Abramowitz, Pomerantz & Morehead in Sunrise by a vote of 1,104-858 to become the first Asian-American on the board, said bar spokeswoman Francine Walker.
