A retail furniture chain has prevailed in a salary dispute with its former president.

Tampa-based Ashley Furniture HomeStores Ltd. hired John Disa as its president in January 2009. He claimed Ashley paid him all compensation as agreed for 2010 to 2012. However, Disa, who was terminated Nov. 10, 2013, claimed Ashley did not pay him for all earned compensation owed in 2013 through his firing. He sued Ashley Furniture Industries Inc., claiming breach of contract. His counsel claimed bonus compensation was not paid in 2013.
