Latin American multinational companies may soon have another reason to consider moving their headquarters — and their computer servers — to South Florida.
The Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016, which has passed both houses of Congress, is expected to be signed into law soon allowing companies to file federal civil suits when trade secrets are stolen.
