The Florida International University law school is unveiling a one-year juris master’s degree this fall to provide compliance officers with a greater understanding of complex and ever-changing banking regulations.
“This one degree will cover all the topics that a compliance officer in the banking industry needs to know,” FIU law dean Alex Acosta said. “This degree fills an industry need by providing banking professionals with an advanced understanding of compliance and banking regulation. It’s very practical for industry professionals, as well as affordable.”
