It looks like Dale Norman is taking on the state of Florida for fining him $300 when all he wanted to do was stride along Federal Highway in Fort Pierce wearing a tank top, shorts and a .38-caliber pistol holstered on his hip.

But much bigger players with ambitious agendas will be hovering nearby when Norman’s case is argued June 8 in the Florida Supreme Court.
