The federal government’s landlord agrees Fort Lauderdale needs a new federal courthouse but found no viable downtown location for new construction.
Three to five acres would be needed to accommodate offices and covered parking on a $190 million budget for site acquisition, design and development, according to a report issued Friday by the General Services Administration.
