For a third time this month, lawyers have received phishing emails disguised as official Florida Bar communications.

The bar’s Attorney Consumer Assistance Program was flooded with 380 phone calls Tuesday from lawyers who received the latest scam email. The message, purporting to be from bar president-elect William Schifino, tells attorneys a bar complaint has been filed against their law practice as a way of luring them to click a malware link.
