A Miami developer scored a big profit after a one-year hold on Davie apartments.

CFH Group LLC purchased the Conquistador Apartments in May 2015 for $29.9 million and renamed them the Sunset Palms Apartments. A year later, the real estate company sold the 318-unit complex for $38.5 million, which produced a 29 percent gain. Thursday’s closing breaks down to about $121,000 per unit.
