Helicopters circled overhead as Orlando attorney John Morgan made his way to work Monday. His office at the personal injury firm Morgan & Morgan is on the same street where gunman Omar Mateen opened fire inside a crowded nightclub around 2 a.m. Sunday, killing 49 people and injuring at least 50.
“It’s 19 blocks from my law office and three minutes from my son’s home,” said Morgan, whose firm is known by its many billboards throughout Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New York and other states.
