A Miami federal judge entered a $46.7 million final judgment against Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. for willful patent infringement in its Sea-Doo personal watercraft.

A jury found that Sea-Doo used an off-throttle assisted-steering technology patented by snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle maker Arctic Cat Inc., and the company was awarded about $102 in royalties per 151,790 units sold since October 2008.
