Broward Circuit Court is holding a memorial for the late retired Judge Marcia Beach, a former county commissioner credited with advocacy for the disabled.
Beach was elected in 2000 and won a second term before retiring in 2012. She presided over drug court, which scheduled a tribute for her at 4 p.m. Thursday in Room 380 at the Broward County Courthouse in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
