Proskauer Rose partner Stuart Kapp first met entrepreneur Carl DeSantis in 1997 when he represented Levitz Furniture in the $8.1 million sale of its headquarters building in the then-named Arvida Park of Commerce to vitamin company Rexall Sundown.

At the time, DeSantis was founder and chairman of Rexall Sundown. Ever since then, Kapp has represented him in most of his commercial real estate deals.
