Senior judges looking to participate in alternative dispute resolution must look outside their circuits, the Florida Supreme Court ruled Thursday.
The update to the code of judicial conduct forbids senior judges from serving as an arbitrator or a voluntary trial resolution judge in the same court where they preside. They were already barred from mediating conflicts in their circuits.
