Miami attorney Carlos Loumiet will get another chance to pursue his $4 million claims that Treasury Department investigators unlawfully retaliated against him for work he did on a securities fraud audit.

The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia reinstated the Broad and Cassel partner’s malicious prosecution claims against the federal government and the investigators, reversing a district court decision.
