Florida Beer, the third largest brewery in Florida, produces various brands which are distributed nationally and has contracts for other global brands, Greenspoon Marder said in a statement on the deal. The acquisition of Florida Beer marks ANSA McAL’s first purchase of a private brewing production facility in the United States. ANSA McAL’s beverage sector owns and operates Carib Brewery, one of the largest in the Caribbean. With more than 1,000 employees, Carib Brewery produces Carib beer and Carib Light. Carib Brewery also brews Stag beers and a range of Shandy Carib products. The company has locations in Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and St. Kitts and Nevis.
