The Central Bank of Venezuela has voluntarily withdrawn its federal appeal of a lawsuit it brought against a website that publishes Venezuelan black market exchange rates.

The underlying complaint filed in 2015 had accused DolarToday LLC, a Delaware corporation, and its principals of publishing false rates with the intent of destabilizing the Venezuelan economy. It sought a reward for damages and a permanent injunction banning DolarToday from publishing the black market value of the Venezuelan currency.
