The trio of law professors hoping for a seat in Congress is now a duo.
Tim Canova, a professor at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, on Tuesday lost his primary bid to Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Canova had hoped to unseat the 11-year incumbent and former chair of the Democratic National Committee in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District, which spans Miami Beach and parts of Broward County.
