We live in a world that is more connected than ever before, and with new technology comes new risk. Any organization — from a small business to a hospital, a university or a government agency — can be a victim of cybercrime. Nowhere is it more important for consumers to protect their data than in their financial transactions. However, banks, and particularly many smaller financial institutions, are lagging in the systems and processes needed to protect consumers to the greatest degree possible.
