The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday disbarred three attorneys involved in the scandal that led to Broward Circuit Judge Laura Watson’s removal from the bench.
Darin Lentner, Charles Kane and his son, Harley Kane, were disbarred for secretly negotiating a settlement and keeping personal injury protection clients in the dark about the details, according to the court. The settlement also left specially retained bad-faith attorneys without $3 million in compensation they’d earned.
