Former federal prosecutor Robert T. Watson has become part of Kobre & Kim’s Miami office, joining three other former federal prosecutors already in place.
Watson, who is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, will focus on government white-collar enforcement defense and cross-border investigations involving Latin America, where the firm wants to bolster its capacity to serve clients facing U.S. investigations. Brazil, where the firm has some ongoing cases, is of particular interest to the firm.
