We all anxiously kept our eye on Hurricane Matthew as it grew into a Category 4 hurricane with a forecast to make landfall on Florida’s east coast.

At one point or another Florida’s 20 million residents, many of whom live in community associations, will unfortunately be affected by a hurricane. For years we have counseled our condominium and homeowner association clients on what steps to take before, during and after a natural disaster.
