A 47-year-old Deerfield Beach affordable housing complex will undergo extensive renovations with a $5.3 million loan from Love Funding, a Washington-based provider of Federal Housing Administration financing.

The loan will help the city housing authority upgrade the 96-unit Stanley Terrace apartment community built in 1969, replace faulty windows and repair mechanical and electrical systems. The financing deal closed about two weeks ago.
