Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jason Bloch on Wednesday lost an appeal challenging his successor’s election qualifications.

Miami attorney Marcia Del Rey, who defeated Bloch in August’s judicial election, properly filled out her qualifying paperwork, the Third District Court of Appeal found. Bloch’s arguments that Del Rey did not comply with financial disclosure requirements were previously rejected by the trial court.
