The Mexican real estate investment trust Fibra Plus announced its initial public offering Thursday, raising about $78.3 million on the Mexican Stock Exchange, having gone forward despite volatility in the Mexican market caused by the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
Fibra Plus marks the fifth time a Holland & Knight team has advised on a FIBRA market debut. A FIBRA is an investment vehicle—Mexico’s version of a real estate investment trust—dedicated to acquiring and developing real estate assets in Mexico for leasing.
