The United States’ relations with Latin America will pivot on Tuesday’s U.S. election, a Brookings Institution foreign policy expert said Monday.
Speaking Monday at the Fourth Annual U.S. Latin America Legal Summit in Miami, Latin America expert Richard Feinberg discussed the cyclical history of U.S.-Latin America relations and how the spread of democracy, an economic boom from free trade agreements and a more educated population have had a positive effect on the regional relationship.
