A Florida stockbroker pleaded guilty to participating in a $131 million securities fraud, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
Boca Raton resident Gerald Cocuzzo could face up to 20 years in prison for defrauding investors in ForceField Energy Inc., a publicly traded company listed on the Nasdaq. He entered a guilty plea in federal court in Brooklyn, New York.
