A property owner is fighting Miami-Dade County over who is required to maintain a neglected decades-old roadway.
Robert Oliver III owns 9.5 acres of vacant land just west of Florida’s Turnpike Extension between Southwest 216th Street and Old Cutler Road south of Cutler Bay. The property is owned by a limited liability company set up by Oliver. Old Cutler Creek LLC is appealing a county opinion deeming the owner responsible for maintaining a road overgrown with weeds adjacent to his vegetable farm.
