In the wake of McDermott Will & Emery’s broader leadership changes, Miami-based private equity partner Harris Siskind has been named to fill the open position of global head of the firm’s corporate and transactional practice, effective immediately.

Siskind recently served as co-head of the firm’s international private equity practice and led the corporate and transactional work done out of the firm’s Miami office. Siskind takes over from fellow Miami partner Ira J. Coleman, who was elected in September as chair of the firm effective Jan. 1, 2017.
