One waterfront site wasn’t enough — at least for Vladislav Doronin, a Russian billionaire developing a 649-foot luxury condominium tower in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.

Last week, a subsidiary of Doronin’s Miami-based development company, OKO Group, purchased a two-acre lot fronting Biscayne Bay to add to the developer’s Edgwater collection. The property sits across from the Missoni Baia, the site of OKO Group’s planned 57-story, 146-unit luxury condo tower.
