A state appellate court Wednesday shaved $2 million from an award for a restaurant evicted from the Palm Beach Gardens Embassy Suites hotel.

It upheld Palm Beach Circuit Judge Meenu Sasser’s directed verdict, but trimmed nearly 19 percent from a $10.8 million award by reversing the restaurant’s winning conversion claim.
