A beachfront tower that once carried the Donald Trump name changed hands in a series of transactions totaling $100 million.

Four companies linked to the Quebec-based Heafey Group, a private real estate investment company, purchased 232 of the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach’s 290 units, according to Broward County property records. The hotel property at 551 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. will have both condo-hotel units and full-time residences.
