A Florida golf club linked to President Donald Trump breached its contract by refusing refunds to dozens of patrons, U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra ruled Wednesday.
Jupiter Golf Club LLC, which does business as Trump National Golf Club Jupiter, must refund about $5.7 million in dues and interest to 65 members who brought a successful class action for breach of contract. Its attorney, Herman J. Russomanno III of Russomanno & Borrello in Miami, said the company plans to appeal because the plaintiffs resigned from the club before the property became part of the Trump Organization.
