Two neighborhood shopping centers in suburban Broward County traded in a $163 million deal that stands as the county’s largest retail transaction in almost a year.

InvenTrust Properties Corp., an Illinois-based real estate investment trust, purchased Paraiso Parc and Westfork Plaza in Pembroke Pines, the company announced last week. The two adjacent community shopping centers are expanding and will total 389,000 square feet when the project is completed later this year.
