An Illinois real estate developer dropped $106 million on a Medley distribution facility for its first venture in South Florida.

Industrial market leader CenterPoint Properties purchased the 306,703-square-foot warehouse at 10400 NW 122nd St. from Levine Properties, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based developer. The deal, which closed Dec. 19, marked CenterPoint’s first acquisition in the region, said Paul Charlton, the company’s senior vice president of investments.
