Gov. Rick Scott aims to cut taxes by $618 million this year — and one item in the tax cut package specifically appeals to South Florida’s real estate community.
“One of the taxes we are fighting to cut is the commercial lease tax, which unfairly targets small businesses,” Scott said in a news release on his State of the State address.
