Former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez has bought a Kendall gym franchise and the rights to develop additional gyms for the UFC GYM chain in Miami-Dade County.

James Stefanick, a partner with Cole Schotz in New York, advised Ultimate NeV on the sale of the gym to Rodriguez’s company, A-Rod Corp. A team from Greenberg Traurig that included Denver partner Stephen Dietrich and Fort Lauderdale partners Stanley Jacobs and Jonathan Gelman represented A-Rod. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
