The Florida Supreme Court’s newest justice thinks the judicial branch could learn a thing or two from the podcast “Serial.”
The podcast’s first season about a real-life murder mystery captured imaginations with its storytelling, Justice C. Alan Lawson said. That was a tale of justice possibly denied, but courts need to be just as captivating with tales about justice delivered if they want to secure the public’s confidence and, in turn, critical state funding, he said.
