A model who posed for stereo system manufacturer Bose in 2004 is suing the company in U.S. District Court in Miami, claiming that its use of her photograph goes beyond what she agreed to in her contract.

The model, Ting Ji, who is based in Miami and New York City, signed a release with the Boston-based White Packert Studio authorizing the photo studio to use her photos. According to the complaint, however, the release barred certain types of use, such as point-of-purchase displays, packaging and television.
