Gov. Rick Scott selected Multack, 42, for the seat vacated by Judge Rosa Rodriguez.

Miami-Dade County Court Judge Spencer Multack was elevated to the circuit bench Friday.
Multack, 42, became a judge in 2011 after a decade working as a state prosecutor. He is an Aventura resident and a University of Miami School of Law graduate.
The other nominees for the seat were Miami-Dade County Court Judges William Altfield, Tanya Brinkley, Carlos Guzman and Andrea Ricker Wolfson, and Miami federal public defender Ayana Harris.
