Alston & Bird advised longtime client Mohawk Industries on an agreement to acquire IVC Group, a Belgian vinyl flooring manufacturer, for $1.2 billion.
The deal is expected to close by the end of the first quarter.
The acquisition will strengthen Mohawk's position in the fast-growing luxury vinyl flooring business, said the flooring manufacturer's CEO, Jeff Lorberbaum, in a Jan. 13 announcement.
