A former Atlanta mayor and Georgia governor, two judges and the state bar president are the commencement speakers for Georgia's five law schools.

Emory University School of Law kicks off the graduation week on Monday. Former Atlanta mayor Shirley Franklin will speak at the law school's diploma ceremony, held at 10 a.m. on the Gambrell Hall lawn, immediately after university commencement exercises on The Quadrangle.

Plaintiffs lawyer and former governor Roy Barnes is the graduation speaker for the Georgia State University College of Law on May 15. The ceremony is at 4:30 p.m. at the GSU Sports Arena.
