The University of Georgia on Thursday announced the creation of a new relationship with former U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss that will involve him teaching a law school class.

The initiative, called the Sen. Saxby Chambliss Leadership Forum, is designed to increase students' exposure to politics and “provide Chambliss a forum through which to share his insights and expertise on topics ranging from national security to foreign policy.”

Chambliss retired from the Senate at the beginning of this year, after spending 20 years in Congress. DLA Piper announced shortly thereafter that Chambliss was joining the firm as a partner in its Atlanta office.
