Marissa McCall Dodson is joining the American Civil Liberties Union‘s national campaign to stop mass incarceration, and will be the ACLU’s Southern region advocate for criminal justice reform.

Dodson has become a leader in advocating for the rights of Georgians with a criminal history as the policy director for the Georgia Justice Project, helping to reform the state’s criminal record expungement statute in 2012 and 2013. The Daily Report this year named her one of its On the Rise lawyers under 40 for her work.
